Mrs. Larson
Hello Parents! I will periodically update this page with various classroom wish list items. We appreciate any and all help to make this classroom a unique learning space!
Beanbag Chairs: In our room, students love to lounge about the floor as they read and write. Beanbag chairs or large pillows would be a great way to make that floor more comfortable!
Board Games: When it's too hot, too cold, or they have earned some free time, board games are always a ton of fun! We have several, but can always use more! Ask your child or email me to see which ones we already have if you are interested in providing one.
Books, books, books!! This class LOVES to read!! We will always welcome novels that are appropriate for 4th graders! (used is fine!). Also, we would love to expand our non-fiction selections with books about science and social studies.
Interactive building materials: The more of these items we have, the more we can explore! We would love items such as Legos, Kinex, Gears, Bristle Blocks, or any other building toys that you could think of.
Problem solving games: Such as..
- ThinkFun Amaze!
- Rush Hour!
- ThinkFun Tip Over
- Balance Beans
- Wooden Tetris
- Kanoodle
- Sumoku
... or any other you can think of that encourages students to think critically, problem solve, collaborate, and communicate!
